On Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th of January 2012 there will be a cheese making course at Skabram Cheese farm. The course is arranged by the organization Hushållningssällskapet. During these days we speak Swedish and the course is primarily intended for people from Norrbotten and Västerbotten.
On the first day we make a hard cheese and the day after we keep ourselves busy with making fresh cheeses. Of course we use unpasteurized milk from our mountain cows.
The course is part of the project Smakfullt. This project supports the development of small scale food production in Norrbotten and Västerbotten.
Kristina Åkermo from cheese factory Ovikens Ost in Jämtland will be the instructor during this course.
